PURCHASING MANAGER
QUALIFICATIONS
· Male, maximum 40 years old
· Minimum 5 (five) years experience in the same field with minimum 2 (two) years experience in management level) preferably from automotive business
· Minimum S1 Degree from Technic
· Have sound and solid knowledge in automotive business
· Must have a strong leadership especially to manage purchasing staff
· A self motivated team player, able to communicate clearly with colleagues at all levels
· A proven ability to effect change, with passion and commitment to inspire others to work towards a common plan, achieving tangible results
· Able to contribute at a strategic level in developing operations and other aspect of the business
· Able to search for the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible purchase cost for their employers
· Able to evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, service, availability, reliability, and selection variety.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Proactively improve Purchasing processes, supplier selection and development to support above
· Manage Supplier performance and create action plans to address those that under perform
· Continuously review the role of Purchasing and communicate its role to other departments in the company
· Ensure that all Purchasing transactions are conducted ethically
· Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, service, availability, reliability, and selection variety
· Additional responsibilities of a purchasing management agent include analyzing market conditions, assisting in the planning of sales promotions, aiding executives in order to decide the nature of the sale and working with advertisers to create ad campaigns for newspapers, television and direct mail.
