PURPOSE OF ROLE

• Consistently deliver exceptional supply chain performance to upgrade the quality in distribution in combination with efficiency of net working capital and to support the business growth 
• Provide the strategic direction of the development plan in supply chain distribution 
• Streamline the end to end supply chain distribution process to maximize the supply chain performance efficiency and cost effectiveness 
• Lead, manage, train and develop the third party logistic to assure the supply chain performance 
• Drive the end to end supply chain lead-time & cost reduction 

People Management

• Develop the organization structure and build the standard operation procedure for resource allocation & management 
• Train and manage the distributors team without being the direct “boss” of the distributors employee.
• Provide training and guidance to develop the skills of the team in order to meet the business needs and growth 

Distribution & Sales Order Management

• Prepare the budget and strategy for distribution model development and management 
• Build the standard operation procedures for quality charter, regulation profile, security control profile, distribution compliance, management compliance, and quality compliance, and daily operation process control 
• Manage the distributor to provide best service level and maintain Principal standard 
• Establish & monitor the warehouse management KPI, & distributor KPI in order to maintain high level of quality, service standard & efficiency in warehouse operation 
• Create & monitor the outbound KPI, customer fulfillment & quality KPI in order to provide best service level & high on time delivery performance from sales order placement to actual outbound delivery completed to customers 

Forecasting, Purchase Order Management & Inbound Management

• Maintain an on time & accurate product master maintenance 
•  Developing tracking system to monitor the progress of inbound delivery/inventory level and taking corrective actions to ensure timely receipt 

Import and Forwarding Management

• Manage the inbound logistics operation from purchase order delivery arrangement & tracking, vessel arrangement, custom clearance, quality regulation to loading plan till arrival at the warehouse 
• Liaise with the custom agent, shipping line and forwarder on freight rates and transportation arrangement terms 
• Establish a delivery database and standard operation procedure to manage the import control function

KEY EXPERIENCES / BACKGROUND

• Min 5 years working experience in supply chain field 
• 3 years working experience in Executive/Managerial position 
• Advantage to have experience in premium industry 
• Bachelor Degree in Logistics or equivalent 
• Fluent in written & spoken English 
• (Advantage) to be fluent in another language. 
• Seek for out-of-box ideas within the established framework 
• Reactive for changes, i.e., promptly understand changing situations and take reasonable actions 
• Keen to know what is happening at ground level and develop solutions from there: i.e., not just analyzing numbers, thinking, and developing plan “at the office” push (drive, influence) people rather than pull from people

Role Overview & Purpose
The Science and Communication Manager will play a key role in developing and growing the business in Indonesia. Working closely with the President Director you will research widely to understand the competitive dynamics of the category, market and consumer behaviour.

With this knowledge, you will create customer demand and develop the strategy to launch new products and raise brand awareness across Indonesia. Building relationships with key stakeholders, maintaining a positive 'can-do' attitude and being persistent in delivering a world-class service are all crucial attributes in this role.

Reporting to the President Director, you will be an ambassador for Company at every interaction, both internally and externally

S&C Program Management

• Develop, manage and evaluate Scientific & Communication plans and programs 
• Establish relationships with vet industry leaders, opinion leader in vet market, influences, consumers, and academic institutes 
• Provide professional training and consulting to educate customers on Health Nutrition benefits of each product 
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams and channel partner on the technical communication for new product development and activities on A&P plan 
• Collaborate with other countries for exchanges the best Scientific & Communication practices and sharing resources and business supports 

Customer Engagement & Brand Awareness 

• Building strong relationships with all stakeholders 
• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with key and influential customers 
• Build supportive relationship with sales and marketing teams and customers, tailoring scientific communications to support business growth 
• Provide suggestions and support resolution of customers’ queries by collection and analyzing inquiries or complaints 
• Differentiate Company brand from competition through strong and continual education with customers 
• Continually develop and share knowledge of products and other technical-related information 

Key Functional Skills/ Knowledge

• In-depth knowledge of pet science and nutrition 
• Strong influencing and coaching ability, imparting knowledge in a concise and effective manner 
• Strong logical thinking, deliberate questioning in a comprehensive, thorough manner, able to maintain balance & principle persistence 
• Experience on influencing other departments, to unite & lead the business to achieve targets 
• Strong ability in handling customer relations, superior negotiation ability, can solve questions & challenges encountered from work in a timely manner 
• Strong organizing & coordination ability, able to consolidate company’s information & convert to competitive advantage 
• Effective and strong assertive skills on project management 
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Ind.

Key Experiences

• Masters Degree in Vet Science or a degree in nutrition science, majoring in Animal Medicine or Nutrition 
• Minimum Exp 5 Years,
