General Manager - Advertising / GMA-PHB-RIN

The General Manager will be responsible for managing the organizations’ processes and workflows, helping and creating organizational and program budgets in collaboration with the CEO and other HODs. Reporting to the CEO and serving as a member of the Management Team along with the CEO, this position's primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the organization's operational functions. Working with the management team, the position spearheads the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices. This position will also interact with the Board of Directors.


Responsibilities:

  • Meet financial and operational growth target; overall accountable to the profit & loss of the agency
  • In-charge of overall day-to-day operations of the agency
  • Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT and Finance), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
  • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
  • Management of agency budget in coordination with the CEO.
  • Development of individual program budgets
  • Disbursement of checks for agency operational expenses.
  • Organization of operational documents.
  • Regular meetings with CEO around budget and operational planning



Responsibilities by Function

Budgeting
• Head annual budgeting and planning process for the organization's annual budget with CEO
• Assisting CEO in presenting to Board annual organizational budget.

Organizational Leadership & Effectiveness

  • Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team
  • With HODs, ensure clear roles and responsibilities are set for each department and individuals within each department.
  • Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services through improvements to each function (HR, IT, Finance) as well as coordination and communication between functions.
  • Drive initiatives in the management team and organizationally that contribute to long term operational excellence.
  • Create and monitor sub-committees within the organization to drive initiatives for operational excellence.
  • Providing consulting services on matters related to day-to-day General questions, and business structure and growth.

Risk Management

  • Serve as primary liaison to legal counsel in addressing legal issues e.g. copyright, antitrust, governing instruments, partnerships, licensing etc.
  • Oversee organizational insurance policies.

Reporting Lines
• Functionally and operationally reports to Group CEO
• Management of all Head of Departments

Qualifications
• At least 8-10 years experience in marketing or advertising
• Strong background and work experience in Agency (various departments a plus)
• Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, and access
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and General management implementing best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
• Budget development and oversight experience
• A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
• Knowledge of tax and other compliance implications
• Excels at operating in an fast pace environment
• Excellent people manager, open to direction

Basic Salary: Start from Rp 40.000.000 Gross/month up (depends on qualification & experience)
