Major Account Sales Manager (MAM) -Manufacturing / MAM-ATD-RIN

The Major Account Sales Manager (MAM) -Mfg is a key sales role that directly interfaces with large enterprise accounts both domestically and internationally.  The MAM is responsible for growing the business relationship within the Account(s) to meet/exceed financial and business objectives.  At the most senior levels, the Major Account Manager will be responsible for achieving sales goals for one or more large global enterprise accounts.

Drives Business Results
  • Maximizes individual sales opportunities
  • Effectively negotiates customer agreements
Develops Accounts
  • Develops important and effective relationships within the account including Key Executives
  • Translates customer challenges and opportunities into unique business value
  • Ensures the company team delivers Business Value to the Account(s)
  • Builds effective Account Business  plan and execute upon the plan
  • Builds, maintains and grows opportunity pipeline within Account(s)
  • Uses sound call planning to drive business results
  • Makes continuous improvement in moving company from vendor to trusted advisor
Executes Strong Business Practices
  • Provides effective internal information as requested (i.e. Ops reviews, customer info…)
  • Constructs internal/external presentations in an effective and professional manner

Leads the extended Sales team
  • Coordinates, influences and orchestrates all of the appropriate resources for Account and/or Opportunity development

Contributes to broader team
  • Make contributions to company outside of Account(s)/territory,  for example: participates on core team, brings new idea into business and develops sales tools or new approaches

  •  Must be willing and able to travel as needed to achieve objectives.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard work hours for home time zone.
  • Meets/exceeds annual and multi-year targets (Revenue, Bookings, Billings, etc.)
  • Able to create effective proposals that link our solution to the customer business
  • Able to Leverage our pricing, packaging  and business models to maximize returns and unique business value
  • Provides timely, accurate and detailed forecasts
  • Effectively leverages chosen sales processes, tools and methodologies
  • Able to build and influence a global/ virtual team (sales, support and consulting)
  • Develop strong working relations across GEOs and functions (finance, operations, division, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Results oriented, strong verbal and written communication skills, self aware, strong business ethics, with a natural ability and motivation to build strong customer relationships.   At the senior levels, knowledge of non-domestic business practices and a global perspective are required

SALES MANAGER (Architecture, Engineering, Contractor) AEC / SM-ATD-RIN

SALES MANAGER (Architecture, Engineering, Contractor) AEC

Plans and conducts sales activities to achieve assigned quota for civil/infrastructure products and services within a defined geographic territory. Generates new business by developing leads and/or expanding existing accounts.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Together with assigned VARs, follows up on sales leads within assigned areas. Develops long term customer relationships and achieves customer satisfaction goals.
  • Ensures reseller receives and understands product and marketing information and is trained in all areas of AEC products, services and strategy..
  • Recommends  AEC product and service solutions designed to help customers achieve their objectives.
  • Collects and disseminates competitive information to resellers.
  • Works with ASEs to provide technical product information and/or demos.
  • Develops and maintains quarterly product forecast.
  • Assists reseller in developing sales and marketing plans related to the vertical product line.
  • Sets up beta programs; provides feedback to product / services division.
  • Implements new product launches with resellers within assigned territory.

Critical Competencies/Typical Requirements:
  • Typical Education: Degree in Engineering
  • Typical Experience: 8+ years
    • Has experience working within a sales function or department
    • Can describe key features and benefits of a AEC product line
    • Has worked with a sales strategy for a specific channel, product, and market
    • Knows who AEC customers are: whole team, priorities and roles and responsibilities.
    • Is experienced with multiple customers and types of customers
    • Can discuss customer's goals, strategies and objectives in AEC industry
