Purchasing/Procurement Specialist (BUYER)


To define the responsibilities of the Purchase Department personnel and summarize their duties.

Duties & Responsibilities

The main duties of the BUYER, under the responsibility of the Purchasing Coordinator, are:

• Providing for the purchase of spare parts and stores
• Submitting to the Purchase Coordinator the significant offers for spare parts and stores
• Providing for their delivery to vessels
• Maintaining the documents relating to the purchases
• Recording of suppliers and contractors qualification data and maintaining of vendor list
• Providing interface with vessel in the absence of the responsible Superintendent for matters relating to the purchase of spare parts and stores
• Checking of invoices and initiating financial settlement
• Handling of disbursement of accounts arising from voyages by vessels
• Good knowledge of Windows or Linux/Ubuntu operating system, application software as Office, Internet explorer, Outlook, word text elaboration, tables and calculations with excel, basic knowledge of software languages.

Basic knowledge of hardware, net systems, basic notions of ERP (enterprise research planning) as SAP, Oracle, LS400

Sales Fleet Manager

General Responsibilities

The Fleet Sales Manager has overall responsibility for fleet sales business development in fleet markets.

Specific Responsibilities

1. Identify, contact and visit fleet prospects and fleet opportunities.
2. Assess fleet needs; identify key decision-makers; monitor key bidding process; develop and present fleet sales proposals.
3. Manage delivery process from supply plan to hand-over process.
4. Manage fleet customer relationship management/Fleet marketing, incl. fleet customer database maintenance
5. Oversee fleet sales training.

Working Relationship

1. Work with sales department (sales planning and dealer operation) to ensure annual volume objective on budget, program, and forecast in Monthly Sales Program.
2. Work with customer service operation department to ensure the delivery of after sales services including parts supply to fleet customer including to resolve servicing, warranty and parts support issues.
3. Work with marketing department to contribute inputs on product planning, promotion activities, and pricing strategy which relate to fleet sales activities and fleet sales customers.
4. Work with dealer development department to enlarge dealer service network capability especially within fleet market area.

- candidates must fluent in English,
- Male or Female 28 - 34 yrs old
- preferably from automotive background
- Experience 2-3 Years as Fleet Sales Manager/Assistant/Supervisor

experience and understanding in B to B business environment
- good personal skills
- strong ownership of responsibility
- good leadership in encouraging and empowering dealer fleet capability
- has marketing knowledge in product .
- ability to prepare effective report, presentation and analysis
