Associate Director (Business Space) ADBS-DTZ-JAC

Associate Director - Business Space.

To assist to develop, direct and manage the business of the department.
To provide comprehensive sales & leasing services on all client projects.
To undertake management support functions necessary to ensure industry contacts, market knowledge and in-house data bases are regularly updated.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Manage the team to provide profitable results in accordance with the business plan
Contribute to the team targets and business planning.
Ensure efficient and cost effective running of client’s portfolio.
Ensure effective provision of financial accounting services for clients.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Liaise with clients, landlords, tenants and maintain good working relationships.
Identify and pursue opportunities for generating new business.
Manage relationships with other offices and departments to provide seamless service to client.
Co-ordinate resources within the team to deliver within client expectations.
Undertake and record the requisite amount of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Relationships (External)
Clients, Business community, Agents, Developers, Local authority departments (planning, environment, rating)., Lawyers, accountants and other professional advisers.

Tertiary qualifications in Real Estate, Building & Estate Management or other related disciplines.
Skills & Knowledge
Detailed knowledge of legislation and case law relevant to job.  E.g. landlord and tenant legislation.
Market knowledge.  E.g. economic conditions, competitor strategy and fee structure.
Account management and client relationship management skills.
Strong negotiation, communications and presentation skills
ound business acumen and commercially-oriented approach to solutions.
Ability to work with different cultures.
- At least 10 years in Real Estate or an established firm within the local market.
- Experienced in managing teams in a customer-focused environment.
